Re: Calling It Quits
You (not just you there are many) have been complaining and spending continuesly for years. Like an old cassette tape. Switching sides.
Totem came, Totem spent, Totem exit. He gone. Same as Andrew, he is also not as old as most players.
The permanent enablers who also complains a lot, those guys are the part of this never ending vicious cycle.
I'm not your hater, picked up your narcissistic comments and posts, kinda done care. You are but a stranger on the interent. Most spenders don't even mention their ingame whaling in forums, as its irrelevant on most of the topics, some people do...you know who.
If you are going to call out other spenders to talk with their wallet, Start first. Be the ONE. But no, because I follow my made up rule to spend only on big events, that way I don't miss out. Brah logic.
You cant fool anyone with not spending comments, You make that comment loosely every now and then.
This game is "incapable" of keeping the spending complainers happy... its never Ever going to happen. It should be crystal clear after playing the game for 10 years.
Andrew and totem, they called quits, saying enough is enough. What's your call!! Don't say I'll stop spending, we know how that ends.
Re: Let's have a genuine, honest conversation Kabam
I’ve played this game for 11 years and made a forum account to respond to this.
Purchases within the stores:
The amount of materials available is not the same as it was prior to the change - not even close in some cases. I am a FTP player and have been working my way through ranking and levelling my collection. I have made it through 1/2/3/4 stars and now have every 5 star at rank 2. I relied on the t4b available through the glory and BGS store to continue to progress, and now have less than half the prior available resources to utilize in enjoying my favorite part of the game. A simple excel spreadsheet could have solved this problem prior to the implementation.
Glory / existing currency:
I’ll accept that this was an oversight. However, the lack of communication and clarity on the changes caused alot of this uproar. “When we release the Essentia store, there will be no way to redeem trophy tokens or glory.” That’s all that we needed to prevent a significant portion of the current situation. I think the community would really appreciate some clarity on what will happen once the conversion timer runs out - many old heads like myself are sitting on more of at least one currency than can be converted in the defined timeframe.
Raids tickets:
This is the nail in the coffin for me. A 4th grader could do the math (not an insult, pointing out that 4th graders in the US know how to use fractions) to see that Essentia conversion rate for raids tickets is a slap in the face to the community. I’d be very interested to learn more about how the economy is designed - again, a simple spreadsheet of “this is what was available before, here’s what it looks like after” would have pointed out this obvious error. Even if this botched rollout was partially to increase spending, the raids tickets conversion rate is so beyond insulting that it’s clear that no one checked it.
@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex - while it would certainly be scary to disclose some of the work that was done to prepare for this rollout, I think it would go a long way towards repairing the damage done to the community to explain not even the rationale for the changes, but literally the process of how these changes were designed. Do you need help managing the ungodly amount of data involved? This community is highly motivated and intelligent, and can help.
Again - this is not meant to be negative criticism. I myself am a software engineer and understand that s*** happens. The true worth of a leader in any capacity is in their ability to enable the success of those they lead, whether that’s the higher-ups at Kabam that some are saying are pushing the game towards increased monetization (and thus causing the team responsible for the game development to suffer the consequences), or those in charge of this community. Let us help you - but first, we need to understand how we got where we are.
Re: Check This -- Battleground Crashing
As a former leader of a large software development team at a Fortune 500 company, I’m going to start referring to bugs as kabams.
Re: Did Anyone noticed Titan pool updated sooner than the timer
so far this is kinda bugged right? wrong pool wrong time. any crystals opened should be compensated back correct? since it was the wrong pool. Just Like it was with the Basic 7* pool was messed up earlier.
Re: Calling It Quits
Congrats Op, on putting the game down.
And you got to match me in BG before leaving, like you once wished.
Re: Too many new curencies
No….
Essentia will be the only one
And Radiance as a competitive reward
Give some time and everything will be clear with other currencies gone
We love Essentia😍, We love Kabam😍
I say on behalf of all Mcoc Summoners
Re: Let's have a genuine, honest conversation Kabam
If you're saying that these changes were not intentional, then that just leaves incompetence.
A couple mistakes would be understandable. This many of them every week for months and months...come on.
Since you folks are already headed towards the level of Raid: Shadow Legends with the pop ups and monetization, just hire some of their staff, devs and all. They might be greedy as hell but at least their sheet works correctly (the majority of the time).
Re: Let's have a genuine, honest conversation Kabam
I think the developers are stumped or incompetent in creating a balance between donors and casual players. The gap between them has become enormous. I think a super boost offer of $10,000 will soon appear in the Kabam store, allowing you to compete in Battlegrounds.
It feels like the game has about a year left... And the developers want to squeeze as much money out of players' pockets as possible.
