Does it seem reasonable to have such a value disparity between these things when considering pricing?

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing this game, have been since it launched. I admire all the hard work from the @Kabam game team. Love the camaraderie of the MCoC community.

I get that in-game purchases are a normal part of the gaming industry these days, but the comparison of what you’re buying and how much it costs is becoming increasingly difficult to understand.

Buying a game expansion is understandable at a specific price point. But this is comparable to selling someone a mushroom for Mario at the cost of the brand new Mario game itself. Lol!

If these things were much cheaper, wouldn’t more people feel enticed to possibly make a purchase? Potentially maybe even making more in sales overall? Maybe I have it wrong and I am ignorant to the game’s economy? Maybe I’m just an average joe and don’t live the wealthy lifestyle to understand this pricing scheme?

It just doesn’t seem right, reasonable or logical in comparison to other things of that same price vs. value for dollar, to even consider making this type of in-game purchase.

You wouldn’t let a real estate agent sell you a basic door for the price of your entire home, would you???

Given that we've just had the latest rebalance update post there's something I've been wanting a little clarification on as right now it feels like things are being left up to assumption.

I could have missed this completely, but has there been any specific word on how long this current batch will last before they fill in slots with older champion buffs? Given that patriot was released in July and then buffed in August this year i would assume that the rebalance windows look at 6 months of champion releases per batch, then if only 1 or 2 new champions need balancing in that window older champions fill the remaining slots, with the actual buffs happening 6 months after the batch is closed, but I'm not sure if it's ever actually been stated that this is the case?

The only thing confusing me about it is the inclusion of deathless vision in this batch. I know that the deathless champions are running on their own cycle of rebalancing not tied to release month, but it does confuse things slightly in my head. I would assume that the current batch number 2 is looking at champions released from January to June this year, then if no other champions need to fill those slots we'll get older buffs, but that is also an assumption based on how the programme was explained a year ago and things could have changed.

I only ask because I can't see any champions that are in dire need of a rebalance between bastion and yelena, though this is from a player perspective and not a dev perspective of course, so I would assume that if the window for this batch closes after that we get an old champion filling the spot and then the 3rd batch would begin with Maker and High Evolutionary who feel more in need of that kind buff than any champion we've had since joaquin, but as I've said this is all a little unclear to me at the minute.

I may be making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be, I just thought that given how much better communication around this stuff has been this year it would be worth bringing up as a possible point to be cleared up by any of the community managers. I mainly ask because whilst I think both Maker and High Evolutionary could maybe be fine if left as is, I worry that if this batch window includes their update then one of them may get something while the other doesn't or is pushed into a later window and my autistic mind would appreciate some clarification on this if possible!
