Re: Massive wave ban?
ok fine, tell me of one run i did, day, and the path (only if you can see those) which "that run" are you referring to? Which that run was itemless, I remember at least using a couple on all the ones I did. To make it clearer, I did two just today, and i used at least in both, are you referring to my first ever run?
Re: Massive wave ban?
@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex OP watching the comments flow with joy they got a ban. Thanks guys see you in the gulag
Re: How I become valient is 88 days without opening any crystals
What’s the purpose of having progression in this game when there are players who either can’t progress or don’t want to progress (Edison Law is now paragon after prodding from the forum community)
I don’t see the purpose of having Elder as the new progression when there have been few benefits being the top progression (Some selectors omit valiant altogether)
Wait till you become Elder and continue to receive valiant rewards
Re: BG rewards have been secretly nerfed
No offence, but because one item is more expensive doesnt say the shop is a scam.
We have to compare the exchange rate, the amount we can get from BG in compare to before as well as compare all prices that was in BG store and are now in Essentia store, some Items like BC7 or Alpha4 seems to be cheaper then before even with less Essentia from BG then we are used to get as BG Tokens.
I saw atleast 2 threads in this forum that analyse that in detail. Its much more complicated then screaming scam.
Also it was already mentioned we dont know from what other sources we may get additional Essentia. Kabam may rushed this new feature, but its not that bad as it may look like.
Re: Massive wave ban?
You did 2 necro runs today? How long did that take you? 15 minutes?
Re: BG rewards have been secretly nerfed
I believe this is being done because the prices in the BG store were much higher than the prices in the Essentia store, relative to say Glory store pricing. In other words, the Essentia store is trying to make one price for many things that used to have multiple prices, and as a result the currencies have to be exchanged at different rates.
The BG milestones appear to be giving 1/5th the Essentia that they used to give in BG tokens. In other words, we will be earning 1/5th the Essentia that we used to earn tokens. But we don't spend Essentia in the BG store, we spend it in the Essentia store. So let's compare a few items to see whether our buying power is higher or lower. I'm just going to pick three for comparison (because I don't have time to do them all). Let's look at T7B and T4A for catalysts, and sig stones for a non-catalyst example.
T7B currently sits in the BG store for 15500 tokens for 3500 fragments. Due to the Essentia scaling, we can say that the effort to earn 15500 tokens will now earn 3100 Essentia - 1/5th the amount. How much T7B would 3100 Essentia buy? In the Essentia store, T7B is 3375 fragments for 1300 Essentia. 3100 Essentia would thus buy more than twice that or 6750 fragments, which is more than the 15500 tokens used to buy. The actual ratio is 3375 / 1300 x 3100 = 8048. When it comes to T7B, our actual rate of return in BG has gone up by 2.3x. For the same effort, we can buy 2.3x the T7B as before.
The numbers are different for T4A, but still in favor of the players. T4A is 2850 fragments for 1400 tokens. It is 5700 fragments for 480 Essentia. 1400 BG tokens translates to 280 Essentia. 280 Essentia would buy 5700 / 480 x 280 = 3325 T4A fragments. This is 1.17x more fragments than before. A much lower advantage than T7B, but still a net overall trade-in value better for the player.
Last comparison I'll do is a non-catalyst one: 7* sig stones. A 7* sign stone is 2700 tokens in the BG store and 140 Essentia in the Essentia store. 2700 tokens translates to 2700/5 = 540 Essentia. So in this case, the trade-in improvement is 3.9x better.
The bottom line is the actual BG rewards have been numerically reduced to 1/5th of the original token rewards, but Essentia pricing is even lower than that. We are getting less currency, but spending it in a store that has far lower pricing.
If someone has an example of an item that exists in both the BG store and the Essentia store, and the BG store pricing isn't at least five times higher than the Essentia store numbers, I would like to know what those items are. That should never happen, and if it is happening I would report it to the Econ team as pricing error. But just looking at examples and doing back of the envelope calculations, it seems like the BG Essentia rewards are more or less reasonable, given the much larger buying power of Essentia.
The trade-in uses a different ratio, it's true: 100:35 or about 2.9 to one. But that doesn't mean the Battlegrounds Essentia rewards are bad. Rather, it means Kabam is giving players better trade-in value than they needed to. It isn't something I would want to complain about, or even call attention to really.
Re: BG rewards have been secretly nerfed
Lol
I never cared less with progression hahahaha
Essentia I love you 😍
And I just R4 my Onslaught.
I dont care for Valiant, neither Elder Title
And I will use Essentia the way I want, you do not command me.
Thanks Kabam 🥳
Re: BG rewards have been secretly nerfed
Old system VT+ BG milestones 95,500 BG tokens = 33,425 Essentia (trade in)
New system 16,810 Essentia.
Is this just more "poor tuning"? Otherwise its just the other thing. They did manage to give us 20% cut on the BG ranked rewards from 10K tokens to 2K essentia. Still missing they could have revived the BG ally points mode with ranked essentia payouts (another story).
If people don't get why we think its a shaft, they set the tone at 35%, now they say here is 17%. Enjoy!!
