Which fundamental aspect? Very few people used to play old EQ that’s the reason they changed it in the first place. The only purpose old EQ served was units, anyone claiming it was more than that is either mad because they’re bad at the game and can’t handle new EQ, or are just complaining for the sake of complaining.

Nah, I know you think most people who play this game are boomers who play the game casually but kids and teens these days want video games to be challenging because that’s what keeps them interested in them. When it isn’t challenging it’s boring, which is why old EQ needed to be changed so desperately. If you don’t like it oh well too bad, suck it up buttercup.

It needs node adjustments and less fights yes, but hp and attack values are fine.

Didn't have a cosmic champ to awaken so I gave it to phoenix. I don't regret it now.
