Oh and good luck OP. No one should spend time on a hobby that they have so many complaints about. It's not a job or marriage. A couple of issues in the game irritate me to the point that I also contemplate quitting, but so far the positive things I get out of the game outweigh my frustrations with the negative things. If that balance changes, I hope I can just leave immediately instead of turning into BeastDad and Ahmynuts….

The monthly EQ isn't endgame content, some of you have a skill issue and it's time to just suck it up. Instead of complaining, try to improve so you can enjoy the mode and get those rewards, they're insane for the amount of effort required which isn't even close to the effort required for actual endgame content like WoF, Ordeal or Epoch.

If you guys wanna leave the game then leave, you are apart of a minority and these changes are in general healthy for the game on the long run, can't please everyone. Very few people actually played old EQ for fun, it was terrible and the rewards even worse, the units were the only good thing.

I am also leaving. The most insightful person on the forums, gone forever, without a trace.

Pausing isn't cheating. It's against the spirit, absolutely, but it's not cheating.

As they've said, they're all for trying to stop this practice, it's rather difficult to do so without removing an at times necessary function - as shown above.

1. I'm not Russian. I don't know where you could possibly have (wrongly) inferred my nationality from. I have no recollection of having ever typed something in Cyrillic here, or something similar.
