People have this weird false knowledge of what a "whale" is. There really isn't that many whales in the game, there might be heavy spenders and whales for some other players perspective. They might spend as much as others make in a month; but they are not necessarily whales.

@Blue_Eyed_Thing You aren’t gonna believe me when I tell you this… but Valkyrie was a 2,3,4,5 & 6* before she was a 7*… so most of us actually knew how amazing she was before she became a 7*… She does insane damage as a 6*, so that shouldn’t chance now that she’s a 7*. She’s bugged, so now we know why she’s not performing as she should. It’s very simple g.
