I have an alternative additional way to earn a stellar piece from future BG events

Current method is to Get to GC.

Additional method: earn a point from winning a fight, not a full match against a higher ranked opponent. A match is 2 out of 3 so max of 2 points. Plus normal win loss scoring.

Higher Level opponent only gets normal win or loss scoring.

Set alternative point level at a reasonable level.

I see this as increased participation with players ability to progress towards reward even while mismatched.

To the larger accounts, is it more fun to have a match with an opponent who plays or do you prefer afk or forfits?

For a player matched against a larger account. Chance to progress to reward for best attempt and possibly winning some fights even if match lost.

For those who are against getting free participation rewards. These still require a win.

I just hope that when 8* champs get released it's a smooth transition.

2 years id guess. Maybe sooner if ascension isnt profitable (which im assuming it wont really be considering how awful it is implemented)
