The point that people keep glossing over is aside from Dark Phoenix, there hasn't been a meta-changing Champ. There are other options.

The major point I'm driving home is the pressure people place on themselves to spend is self-inflicted. As long as I've been here, people have complained about every damn sale they've had. I highly doubt they will stop complaining because of this discussion, but Kabam isn't going to stop marketing in whatever ways they see fit either. So we all have two options. Buy it, or don't.

In reality, the answer is they probably keep them dormant in the game forever. I still have a Hasbro raffle entry from like 4 years ago. Either they haven't done the drawing yet, or Kabam is keeping that file forever.

what kind of rating scale are we talking about here? I like 7 or 8 of your champs. So I’d say your rating is a 50%.

Unfortunately, Crucible is the one quest they have stated that they can't reset your progress (don't have the tech to see, reset and then disable the champs you have already used).

Also, I'm sure this isn't what you meant, but "When I updated my friend halfway" sounds like you were using your friend's account.
