Fair enough then, as you can see she has about the same damage output as Abs and Strange, she’s basically right in between those two in terms of speed and damage (assuming there are no buffs at play whatsoever cause when there are, all three of them get supercharged).

A lot of these negative comments you see are either a. people salty that she lost the things that made her broken (as if it wasn’t obvious when the rework was announced that that would be the case) b. just jumping on the whining train with their favorite content creators or c. mad that they have to start playing BGs competitively because that will be their main source of radiance. Out of all of these, only c. is sort of valid, but unfortunately it is what it is, working hard for your rewards in this game isn’t something completely new it’s always been like that for the top rewards always and it’s nice that they’re being added to other game modes not just endgame content.

Doesn’t matter, she is a little slow if there aren’t any extra buffs helping her dish out more damage. Magik doesn’t need extra buffs to dish out good damage and hers is factually better than Nico’s in non-buff heavy matchups.

Just to put things into perspective since I already know nobody’s going to agree with that last statement about non-buff heavy matchups, this is a r5 ascended 6* Magik:

1:04 correct? No buffs on this RoL Cap Marvel whatsoever, now let’s look at r4 7* Nico:

Same exact matchup, no buffs, 0:51? Huh? So two full ranks higher + higher challenger rating and 7* Nico is barely 13 secs faster than 6* Magik?

Anyways, let’s continue, next up one of the highest damage dealers in the mystic class back in the day. He was literally THE #1 mystic before the wave of cosmic 7* defenders that wiped him off of every BGs deck for a while, r5 ascended 6* Abs Man:

0:59, barely 5 seconds faster than Magik. Wow, people must’ve been delusional back then I suppose because if Magik is slow, then so was Abs Man.

Still not convinced? Let’s compare him to currently the best champ in the Titan pool, a champ who has very good damage and that I’ve already seen in many BGs decks at r4. r5 ascended 6* Doctor Strange:

Would you look at that, 4 seconds slower than Magik. Not a big deal of course, but Strange has been getting so much praise for his buff, what about Magik’s? Nope she’s too slow and she only works for buff heavy matchups yada yada yada.

Anyways, the point I’m trying to make is the price tag on her is more than fair, you get a champ who on attacks is on Strange level (you could even argue she’s higher because she can do Thanos and Dark Phoenix which Strange absolutely sucks for) and on defense is on Iceman level (might even end up being Domino level depending on how well the degen scales with nodes and other things on defense). If you can’t see the value in that then I don’t really know what else to say. What I can tell you is she’s absolutely going to have an impact on the meta and people are sleeping on her massively because of donuts like Lagacy, just jumping on the whining train for the sake of whining.

yea i feel old playing this game for 11 years but kabam has been asking me to play this game more than ever.

Kabam has to know alot of its playerbase are veterans who played along time but they are more interested in please the big spenders as the game is going through a very aggressive monetizing model for ascension and essentia.

the big 3 marvel games witch mobile game will last longest? Strike force, Future Fight or Mcoc all 3 have have been greedy monetized from what i heard from other 2 games.
