Most likely Friends, or at least teammates, maybe either constantly joking with OP that they have something that OP does not, or that OP thinks they are better than and doesn’t like that they are constantly having to see the Vet title on lower teammates ??

And keep in mind, that the Veteran badge was given out just one time, to everyone who met the years of service as of that particular anniversary date, at that time (was it the 10th anniversary ??)

So I believe it was done as a 1-time only, for those people, at that particular time. It is not something that anybody else can earn later on as they continue to play. I don't think they probably even have any code in the software to check accounts every day or year and see if they suddenly qualify. It was “once and done”.

It's like being given a commemorative “Opening Day” pin from your sports team by attending the opening of the season. “I missed that day, I had to work, or had other life-events going on then, but since then I’ve went to ## number of games later on during the season, where is MY “Opening Day” pin, I deserve it too for supporting my team”
