I understand the intention and point of this.
I just don't like that people like me not interested on the showdown have to play the qualifying meta.

The qualifying meta for last brawl was Crit Me With Your Best Shot. The reality is there will be different metas whether there’s a brawl or not. Let’s wait and see what next season’s qualifying meta’s will be.

I mean realistically there is probably ~100 people who have the roster and skills to actually make the showdown. But sure lets make sure everyone else who plays knows their pain. I will say it is slightly less draft focused than the last meta. But I will never understand why they don't just give those at the tippy top their own meta and leave a little bit of fun for those of us who suck more. The meta already switches from VT to GC, just have celestial be their own meta and then really go to town on them. Supposedly none of them ever leave the game so hit them and let us play.
