Ascension Beyond level 2
What’s the plan with these special locked champs such as maestro, blade, star lord, Chavez and others. Along with the sale champs that are being released tomorrow. We have a path laid out for the original box tied to 7* openings. What happens with this special champs though? Just keep selling them to us over and over with the different. ascension and ranks tied to them? Since there has been no info on ascending new champs beyond their crystals I’m sure there is no plan or at least nothing that will be made public yet but I think these are things we should think about as a collective… see what I did there

The real reward is the fun you have playing a frequently buggy game mode…
Seriously though—the chests are laughable, and so are things like getting Paragon level prizes when you’re Valiant or Elder.

It says "complete X collective rank ups." So yes it's counting rankups not the total level.
