    Midtier players should not complain. More than enough content for them to complete and reap rewards from.

    If you have finished A5, LOL etc and you still can't beat Variant, then you made some bad rankup choices or you should watch DDD: Instinctive touch. Or draw your credit card, heard that works well in endgame content you are really not ready for.

    I disagree that this game is only for grinding. There are a lot of mid tier players who play (mostly) for fun, and probably spend a little real money from time to time on the game to make up for the time not spent grinding. That makes those players important customers for Kabam.
    However, since they had clear intentions on Variant difficulty to be for the top players, and classic mostly for nostalgic reasons I won't complain that there isn't much in it for me, being mid tier more casual player.

    Since it's permanent I can strive to finish it much later instead, when my roster has grown and improved!
    If anything they could add just a little more rewards in classic.

    Please no. I've completed Act 5 yet only explored 5.4 for the rewards. I've completed RTTL, havent attempted LOL. My team of 7 5* r4 and 20 5* r3 enough to clear unc with ease. I have 7 6* yet only void and kingpin are quest-worthy. Yet I find ultron's assault a test to my abilities of NOT always relying on the same champions. Many commentators here put it right, i still have to explore story 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 and yet i'm too lazy. I still have LOL to attempt, yet I have not. There's a whole lot of content for the middle ground players; so go do what your're suppose to be doing. If you're as lazy or choosy as me, then you only have yourself to blame. No short-cuts to clearing every single content. Some are meant for those who have almost nothing left to play bar War and AQ, and this quest is meant for them. It's not a question of whether they have a lot of time, a lot of money or even both. It's to keep them occupied and challenged.

    Mid tier players wants to benefit from everything and catch up with high tier (end game) players...
    If you want to become end game player explore LOL first then you can freely talk about it. Some of you didn't even explore act5 and seeing those good rewards from variant and want them instantly...

    It’s a permanent quest just like LOL. Work your way up to it but doing other content first. This content was released specifically for end game players who have little challenge doing uncollected every month. Mid tier players have plenty of content available to build up their roster. This has nothing to do with us taking rewards from mid tier players or any other discussion. It’s a quest released for those players like myself that have no challlenging content available to complete.

Because if we can do this challenge, we surely won’t be able to do act 5 100% or LOL. Because guess what. IT FOCUSES ON TOP TIER PLAYERS!!!!!!

    That’s the whole idea of this quest. It’s meant for top tier players.

    And the middle tier players are sick of not getting content aimed for them. It’s either newbies or god tier players. And just plain tired of it.

    What if a mid-tier player is stuck in an area in act 5 where they need a certain champ but don’t have. Already finished EQ, act 4, doesn’t have time to do RoL and LOL. Some extra chances at some chances at champions they need to get story quests done.

No, there has to be End-game only content, or it's all just a muddle of ****. We already have enough fun replaying the same quests in EQ over and over, why add that to everything? RoL 0.5? RttL 0.5?     He isn't against more rewards, he's merely explaining to you why there doesn't need to be more mid game content since so much already exists where you get more than what you need to rank up 4 star and 5 star champions to get up to the end game level. You haven't really countered any of his points, you can't oversaturate the game with mid-tier content and keep a stable path of progression. Read the original dev diary the purpose of back issues was to add to the lacking end game content in the game which before variant difficulty was pretty much only 100% LOL. No one is against more rewards, free four stars yay, but that isn't an actual argument. This debate boils down to whether or not mid-game players need more content to complete to get to endgame levels of play and the answer is objectively no so kabam doesn't need to nor should feel obligated to add a mid tier back issue difficulty.

    Weird. I see 4* AG in Act 4 rewards. Rank up gems were introduced after A4 but they give enough materials in A4 to R4 a 5*.

    If someone has "no time" then it's on them right?
