I'VE DECIDED NOT TO SPEND ON THESE CYBER MONDAY DEALS THIS YEAR BECAUSE IT WOULD AND ALWAYS DOES GIVE ME AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE IN THE GAME AND IT'S NOT FAIR TO NON SPENDERS. THESE OFFERS GIVE YOU A 6 TO 9 MONTH BOOST WHEN SO MANY NON SPENDERS WORK SO HARD TO GET WHERE THEY ARE.
How isnt it fair? Everyone has the option to buy these deals? Just some choose to and some choose not to.
It would only be unfair if they offered these deals to a small select few players.
There are youtubers who are free to play and show that if you put in the time to be in the top then you can achieve this.
Because if you are broke, then you don't have the option. So it's really not an option is it!. And when i talk about the top, i mean master level alliances. Never seen a YouTuber that's in a Master Ally. Every sigle person in the top alliances spend to stay there. If they say the don't, then they lie! Just the way the game is. If i buy two Odins right now, i can get my second rank 5 5star and i haven't even finished Act 5 100% for those two t5 basics. So... doesn't really seem fair. Although i do need an Odin for energy refills and gonna need a few revives for next months EQ. But i will wait till these deals expire tomorrow to get my Odin. 😊
That's kinda like shooting yourself in the foot bro, why not go for the deals while they are here or do you not have the money to spend on them. If not don't worry I did not get to buy these deals myself because of a car insurance payment coming up. However if you are planing to spend the money anyway and have it budgeted go for it and get some sweet perks + your units.
You don't buy a first place trophy, you earn it. Just saying.
The currency conversion rate for SGD is really bad. Odin in USD is $100, if converted in our country is about $137, but the game is selling at SGD$149!
Complain to Apple and Google, they set the price conversions for their respective in-app stores. Conversions are based on a number of factors, and the current currency exchange rate is only one of those factors. Those conversions are only set periodically (generally monthly) and published to app vendors.
or let us choose the currency of purchase ?
You can choose Drachma if you like, but the currency equivalent is set in U.S. Dollars, and the platforms will still apply Taxes and other charges based on where you live.
I think some times, some of the comments here are pretty stupid. No offense to any one. In any mobile game out there, there will always be F2P and P2P players. Those who take their own sweet time to grow and those who want to grow faster. And then there will those who only spent on certain deals and nothing else. We should just stop the discrimination. Games need P2P players to keep the game running, ... etc while F2P players contribute by increasing the player base of the game. It's up to the developers to do some deals to convert some of these F2P to P2P. They are selling a game to you, hence why would they not sell resources to you? Ultimately, it's up to the players, to remain as F2P or be a partial purchaser or be a whale. Also, there could be very rich players who don't spend a dime and there could be players taking an overdraft to fund their account. You are not wrong whether you choose to be F2P or P2P or somewhere in between. To each his own.

Couldn't agree more. It's never been my position to judge what others do with their own money. It's entirely up to people if they choose to be F2P, or spend. In some cases, people don't have the funds and they equally deserve the same respect. While impressive to be able to compete for free, it doesn't make anyone better than those who spend. Everyone deserves equal respect. While spending supports the game financially, it doesn't mean spenders are above those that play for free, just the same. It's always been my stance to appreciate whatever choices people make. Personally, I'm in the early thousands at this point. It's my money, my choice to make, and it doesn't entitle me to any special treatment over those that play free. I just enjoy funding my hobby when I can. I spend responsibly.
I think people can coexist and respect each other where they're at.
When did they start tacking on tax for unit store purchases?
It's likely specific to the area. Individual Taxes are determined by Countries and applied by the platforms. The prices are all fixed and in U.S. currency. Apple and Google adjust them based on Taxes and Duties.
Not true i play another game and when i make purchases i pay for the price i see without any taxes...only taxes i see is from this game and i called google and they confirmed they dont tax when comes to purchases

Kabam does not charge Taxes. Nor do they change the price. It's the platform, and some Countries have changed Laws recently about Digital Purchases.
