I used 4/55 Sabretooth, 3/45 Omega Red, 4/55 Crossbones, 5/50 Killmonger, and 3/45 Iceman for most runs in Chapter 1. I think I used 3/45 Rogue for 1 or a few fights too. Not counting energy I used 100 units on a team revive on 1.3's Force of Will path. Chapter 2 ups the difficulty and Chapter 3 redefines the concept of difficult.
Chapter 2 to me really seems like you have to have a high ranked sparky or ghost, because I am having a lot of difficulty in that chapter. I honestly think chapter 3 is going to be easier for me because I have Hype, Anglea, and Venom all at r4.

I am using SL 5/65, spark 5/50, Nebula 6*, Hood 3/45 and Mephisto 3/45. I am half way but I feel I will have to maxed Vision. I am struggling a little with the power gain nodes. Magik seems not to work well.

3.1's global masochism node hurts Venom and 3.2's global pilfer node hurts all 3 of those champs. For chapter 3 you want Quake for Electro fights, Corvus or Proxima or Angela or Hulk OG for the 3.1 Ultron Boss, Void or MODOK for the 3.2 boss, and Corvus or Gulk for the 3.3 Ultron boss.
Chapter 3 does its best to kneecap you, and then kick you repeatedly while you writhe on the ground in agony. Or at least that is how every fight with a Korg seems to feel.

I finished chapter 2. Voodoo Sparky Sentinel and Dormammu were my MVPs. Use Mephisto for the 2.2 boss and Nebula for the 2.3 boss. SL can do ok against the 2.3 boss if you're patient, fatigue makes the fight long and tedious.

@Werewrym That's a brilliant strategy for using Hyperion in 3.2. I've finished 3.1 100%, I'm going to try to finish the rest soon. I had Corvus at 2/35 for 3.1. I was able to rank him up to 4/55 yesterday, we'll see how much easier he makes 3.2 and 3.3.

Good luck to you! I am probably going to end up waiting until I get 5* sparky or ghost to complete chapter 2, but I am going to give chapter 3 a shot at 100% in the mean time.
Oh is that the node... Sorry, already forgetting the nodes . You could potentially steal his power gain buff and potentially stop him from gaining it again, although I think you'll probably lose it when he activates a special because the animations last too long.
I would lose the buffs trying to bait him. His power gain is 100%
Yeah I don't know what to tell you... Your magneto might survive a few specials if you try him, otherwise you just kind of have to beat up on him... I fought him using Domino I think, just baited specials and then hit him a couple times. Just quit out and come back if you don't beat him, keep doing that until you one shot him. Energy is cheaper than revives.

When using Hpe vs 3.3 Ultron, how did you get to L3? After Fisticuffs ends, and you start Power Gain charges, won't Ultron Shock you to death? Or are you able to get there with just one Buff's worth of gain, and just eat the shock damage?
And for the OP, well... With those champs available, it's gonna be hell baiting with Mags, who can probably only handle 2-3 L3s, depending on Sig level. Might just be someone you come back to, or revive through, or pray he gets Spam happy.

So you want to pound on Ultron as much as possible during fisticuffs so you can gain as much power as possible. If you do it right, you will only gain probably 1 power gain buff. My Hype is at r4 so one shock charge did not do much to him, then I was able to beat up on him for a while. I tried to parry his l1 as much as possible, but that block damage will eventually get you. Think I used 1 team revive to get through that quest.

@ManChild If that team doesn't work against Hyperion try using Magneto. His sig ability greatly reduces damage taken on sp3s.
