Petrify not working vs Hyperion power gain

Just fought a Hyperion in arena with my Caiw

I had a tech and cosmic , so I was applying petrify and armor breaks.

I also have petrify and despair mastery maxed out.

At one point I had 4 petrify, 4 armor breaks and a even a stun on Hyperion.....instead of draining his power...his power w power gain was shooting up as fast as possible maybe even faster

By my math

Caiw petrify -25% each and I had 4 on him that’s -100%
Armor breaks -15% each from despair mastery I had 4 on that’s -60%
Petrify -15% each from despair mastery I had 4 on him that’s -60%
Stun debuff from despair mastery I had him stunned that’s -15%

Even the fact that he was stunned should have been -30 %from petrify mastery

This all adds up to -265% power gain

I’ve tested his petrify vs regen and it seems to be working correct.....this is the first time I had the opportunity to test it vs power gain

I now see despair mastery only effects healing and regen.

So my math was off.... but he still had 4 petrify’s and a stun.....the 4 petrifys alone should have negated his power gain
