I think a bit of both would be best. It would be a shame to totally ignore the older champions.

How does re-working old champs promote crystal sales? It does not so it is a low priority. I am not criticizing Kabam for this. They need to make cash money and I am a capitalist.

I believe Kabam has answered this before by saying that different dev teams work on new stuff vs existing stuff. I know that's a highly technical explanation that might confuse you non-techies, LOL.
