With aq rewards ramped up is war on the back burner

If you are 250-500 in aq you earn 4400 glory every aq. That means you can buy 4 t2alpha shards for 1750 glory getting 7200 t2 alpha + 6000 T2alpha for finishing top 250-500and estimate of 5000 in map 6 crystals. Meaning 18200 per aq or 2 fully formed T2alpha per month. You can buy 2x900 for 2610 glory plus the 1000 for finishing 250-500 meaning 1800 t5basic per aq or 11200 per month. This does not include eq rewards.

With glory being valuable pushing for platinum may not be worth it and settling into a gold 1 limiting healing potions may be much better investment. What are everyone’s thoughts will you drop from high gold one platinum 3?

Idk, AQs serm more for Rank Up Materials and AWs seem more for Champion Crystals. (At least that's how I see it)

Depending on how many t5 basic shards you can get AQ could definitely make AW seem not worth the effort. RNG is so bad on the war crystals as it is.

On the flipside, that's 500 less 6* shards, 1k less 5* shards (Gold 1 vs Platinum 3 Season Rewards). Not to mention all the shards that could've been gained via wins in higher tier war. Provided your Alliance starts settling for less in the realm of wins. Between eating losses in the pursuit of saving items, and riding in a lower tier overall... this would result in far less crystal shards allocated per season (overall average). Granted, it is FAR less work to land G1 vs P3+ so perhaps the lack of shards will be worth it for some.

If you're more interested in chasing rank up materials such as t5bcs and t2 alphas, stepping it up in AQ is certainly the way judging by the numbers provided above (agreed by the way, nice breakdown @Gmonkey ). Funneling all your Glory into frags would in turn open the door for quicker rank ups without a doubt. The question is, are you happy with your roster? Happy enough to focus more on rank ups vs roster expansion? The answer to this will dictate which way you should go. Obviously there are those that want it all and will go balls to the wall in both AQ and AW.

even if the glory is buffed n cost reduced but the refresh time remains 7 days it won't aid us much. if only every item refreshes in 24hrs our progression will truly benefit. for lower alliances 24 hr refresh time is the only real solution to help level up faster.
most of us have sufficient champs but not the resources to level up. so if only the refresh of glory story is made to 24hrs then we can expand our roster more. if we have a balanced roster automatically aw aq n questing will become easier to handle.arena is enough for bc gold isos all we need now is the glory store to be bit more assisting.

I don't think people are really pushing war for hero shards. 1k 5* shards doesn't really move the needle as it were.

We've figured this out about 3 seasons ago. The glory we get from AQ we used to buy t4b frags to flip and sell for t5b frags. By the end of war season, we moe than made up the difference between plat3 and gold 1. And the best part, we don't spend in war either. We just fight till we die or finish the boss. We win, great. We lose, oh well. Still in gold 1. War has never been worth it imo. The rewards are good in master and plat 1 but the effort, lengths people are going to as far as cheating, colluding, etc, and the pressure to not die or be kicked, is not worth it to me. But that's just me.

I'm not sure if aq should take precedence over war once again. Last few war seasons, rewards have been less than monthly event quest from war crystals in gold 1. It maybe gold one, but it's still a headache. Champs locked in war mode, getting people to move, waiting to be cleared, item usage. if I'm getting the equal rewards from event quest which is way less stress, why push for war? Should there be a minimum amount of t2a, like no less than half a cat? How about a t2a arena? Why not take some of the degeneration, starburst, and other unavoidable damage out of map 6? I enjoy earning the rewards, should I have to buy the rewards with glory or units? I like playing with a lot of champs, Kabam made it so 4 stars are useless. Its easier to rank a 4 star but than I can't use them. Need the materials for champs I like and have use within the game. t5b were supposed to be from war, that's what kabam said. "wars are the go to place for t5b." Now they are in aq? purchased offers? How about t2a? Why should it take me 6 months to 4/55 a new champ? I have 3 5/65's. that's not enough. Please buff war crystals at least 1 t2a or something. cause at equal exploration rewards from uncollected event is not ok for the amount of stress wars pose on us.

It wouldn’t really change it that much because you still need glory to buy it and if it’s every 24 hours you will run put very quickly
