Rank up advice?

I need help knowing who to rank up. I have tons of iso and a modest amount of gold with very little resources. I've even stopped opening 4* shard crystals because I'm afraid the iso from dupes will not be used.

    I'm just hesitant to rank him up because of this months event quest bosses. I don't want to rank up corvus into a future where crits are punished.

    Corvus will still be useful for most fights in both AW and other content. He makes it less annoying to deal with BPCW, IMIW and emma frost. Yes everyone is used to them by now but it makes it abit easier.
