Parry not working in 5.2.4

So I'm using vision against the venom on the caltrops path on map 5.2.4, for some reason he is resisting parry. I see nothing on the node descriptions to make this happen and the green text for parry is showing up on my side so I know it's not my timing. Is this a bug or am I missing something here?

i've noticed aswel parry is very off on that map it does work tho.

The only thing I can figure is that I'm just not seeing masochism's timing right. It seemed like it was happening more than the 7 second cooldown for this.
