For the return of the symbioid

I am surely not the only one wanting to see our symbioid buddys return. And what i liked the most about those little critters was their adaptability. You could use a ton of different boosts so they could face a lot of dire situations, and i think that concept could be expanded.
What i suggest is some sort of permanent boosts for the symbioid, but with a limit to the number that can be active at the same time, and with different level of benefits, that can be earned by playing the event quest. Let me explain.
The first quest has 3 paths, one of them is against "true strikers" (killmonger, heimdall, karnak, etc). At the end of the path, right before the boss you get the "True Strike" permanent boost, which gets upgraded depending en the difficulty of the quest:
- beginner and intermediate "every 20 seconds you get a true strike buff for 5 secs"
- heroic and master "every time you activate a special attack, you gain a true strike for 10 seconds"
- uncollected "at the start of the fight, you gain a true strike buff"
Obviously you woud have to bring your symbioid along and possibly use him against the opponent so it would work like "assimilating the opponents ability". This could be for inmunity boost, perfect block, nullify, fate seal, regen, or any type, as long as your buddy beats the corresponding quest (this mechanic would be totally unrelated to the rank up of the symbioid)
the idea is to have a more RPG feel to it, training your own custom symbioid that goes along with your playstyle, some sense of progression and evolution, and also the fact that you can choose where to go first to get the boosts that you want to prioritize
