Is there a chance that alliance base could be revived? Should it be left alone?

I remember in 2017 when I first started playing I seen a lot about alliance base, a new game mode Kabam was working on. I was pretty hyped about it, but it was sadly discarded. I was wondering should it be kept in the grave, or should we start thinking about it again. It would revive interest in the game and also add a lot of rewards. I think it would be a win/win for Kabam and the community?

There are already enough things in the game that don't work properly.. don't need them adding stuff that will just screw it up even more.. Out of curiosity.. how do you know it would "add a lot of rewards"?

Concept of bases is pretty garbage, I dont want whales who already have infinite gold to raid me to also take half of the little that I have
