Wouldn’t say they ruined it, more they let themselves and Marvel as a whole down. Genuinely seems like it wasn’t even tested and some of the decisions made seem baffling. Think the idea was to capitalise on the new accounts being created in line with the Movie and the hyperbole it would create, could seemingly finish at least master in theory with only a 3* and claim some pretty awesome rewards for a new account. Problem is it neglects the majority of the community who don’t need 50% of the drops in the greater crystal. BIG miss for me, didn’t rise to the occasion and the disappointment is real, do understand that we as a community can be a bit quick to anger sometimes but we all love the game and the MCU as a whole and expectations were pretty high for what was to be offered this month. Can’t see how anyone out there would believe the content was fitting for the occasion.

MCU and MCOC are separate things. MCOC doesn't exist inside the MCU so how did they almost ruin it? They had a event related to the movie that Kabam thought was a good idea. It didn't have free 5 and 6*'s and awakening gems around every corner and you couldn't get a billion gold and there wasnt and rank materials for rewards after each quest.
The quest wasnt that great in execution but they did time it down significantly and can be done 1 just OG Cap now. With some changes to the format it would have been a better event but saying the event almost ruines endgame is ridiculous.

Lol that's funny. Do you think the MCU invented comic characters? The MCU helps with coming up with relatable content. Most everything comes from comic book cannon and what Marvel as a company wants. I also stated the event was based around the movie. The community is upset because they thougjt this event would give the best rewards we've ever seen because of something that happened in the MCU and not related directly to the game.
Did you see me state that they created comic book characters? The MCU is the vehicle marvel have chosen to propel its product into the 21st century. Without it this game would be nothing, it’s not even debatable. I think the nerf of master & epic difficulty was enough of an admission of guilt. This whole event is simply to troll the community into spending valuable rank-up resources into thrash champions. I wouldn't be half as angry if I could just use my CAIW. But no, it must be OG Cap and practically forces me to rank my 4* to 3/30 if I want to do master. And what is this troll +200% power gain node ****? Really, this isn't fun anymore.
GroundedWisdom and Demonzfyre you two have an agenda. You troll the threads arguing with anyone who complains about Kabam does no matter what. Anybody who's been on the forums knows this.

You don't have a logical argument at all. You had a opinion. Argument would mean something of substance, not "I hate the content, they should do better and they aren't creative but not have anything better to offer".
I already said I wasn't impressed with the event but I did offer what I feel like could've made it better. You added nothing but the same excuse over and over.
This is what you’re harping on ??? That the OP didn’t offer suggestions ? It isn’t not the our responsibility to design the game or offer suggestions. OP doesn’t have to add anything until you’re happy with why he is unhappy.
It isn't very exciting this month, to be sure. Mainly given all the previous statements about the "increase in availability of 5 star champions" and then a month that has almost no shards whatsoever built into the events. Especially following a month where we actually did see a very nice amount of 5* shards (through bounty missions), it feels like my roster has just stalled suddenly.
I am really hoping there is a boss rush / challenge coming this month to rescue it, or it's going to be a looooong 3 and a half weeks with absolutely no content to do whatsoever.

Has anyone considered last month was "better" rewards to prepare for this month?
Don't know that is the case, but certainly could be.
The only way we were going to rank up lousy Avenger champs, was if they gave a excess amount of materials to do it with.
