It really depends on content. For variant 2 3.3 I went 2x regen 2x pg and 6x fury to end fights really fast.
But for aq I’ll go heavy on the regen because I can time out in aq and not worry because he’ll just regenerate his health back quickly. So 4-5 regen and 5-6 other offensive buffs I’m happy. For any map but I do map 7. My vtd is 5/65.
Typically a good mix of buffs is best. 2 of each offensive buff is usually sufficient for most regular questing content.
Having an R5 you're obviously well versed on the character. I just got him recently and brought him to 3/45 but haven't used him much. I'm going to be tackling some Variant 2 over the next couple days if time allows, any recommendation on which buff combos would best suit him at that rank? I'm guessing he'll want to have a precision to bring up the crit rate and try to go regen heavy.
Surviving is key in my opinion. When doing aq/aw or harder content like variant #2 I always bank regen, fury and pg on the first fight. In variant if I didn’t get those three on the first fight I would back out of the quest and re-do. Then next two fights just parry heavy to bank w/e. Then the 10th buff is aim for precision. Should be good with a 3/45 too.
I figured regen would be the way to go for V2 with the level of block damage you take. I've still got to play around with him some more and get used to him but so far I like what I see. Especially paired with Venom in V2 for the quicker buffs.
Well that being said, 4x perfect block buffs will drop all block damage to zero & increase length of parrying (not that it matters in variant 2).
