Your video shows NC evading upon the 1st Light hit in the attempted MLLL? Sequence.
So 1st M you land your hit, then the L fails as he evades (this is correct).
If your ML both landed, then the next L (MLL) will land as well and not be evaded.
If you get thru MLL, then the next L (MLLL) can then be evaded again as it would be the 3rd L hit.

It's confusing wording, 2nd and 4th Light Attacks (as opposed to what you were thinking 2nd and 4th “overall” hits in the combo).

The issue is right before 0:08 seconds of the video, where he evades a repulsor attack (1st medium)

Oh. Wonder if that isn’t just him retreating “right before” the Medium is attempted (would be a retreat then instead of evade), and because he then evades again right afterward the “Evade” wording appears. Hard to tell if 2 different “Evade” wordings are popping up right then or not.
