What are with the Stars below our profile?

I saw that a disagree button was added and along with it, a star ranking system or something, can anyone explain what the star(s) are?

All I know is that you get more stars when you get more positive responses (Insightful, Agree, Like). Don't know much besides that.
I'm fine with the system I guess... the only thing I'd like to see Kabam add is the option to not have stars next to your name. I'd appreciate that.

I didn’t see anything in then Announcement that explained how some people’s profiles show they’re awakened. How does someone get their star level awakened?
