Prestige for AQ

Hopefully everyone here can help answer this for us. We lost on the top 1200 by 14 spots this week, while we were definitely in it last week with a similar score. We do have a 30 member alliance now. 29 participated on day 5 and day 1, but we were actually at 29 members that day. Does member participation affect overall score? Or does the entire alliances prestige always count towards it?
Thank you in advance.

Prestige only affects AQ points as far as how the strength of the map opponents are determined before each day's AQ. And that results in increased points the stronger the opponents are.

Day-1 Prestige based on Average Prestige of all members in alliance as of when AQ day-1 starts. Each subsequent day gets modified (higher if you win the previous day's maps) +/- as well as takes into account any membership changes in alliance and people who have ranked up their top heroes in previous day.

Having some ppl skip out on joining in AQ any given day does not affect the Prestige, or strength of map opponents at all, or points (except of course that they could have contributed extra points if there were some paths/nodes that otherwise went unfinished).
