Dungeon artifacts/points capping at 55k?!

Was this ever mentioned anywhere? I have no desire for the current round of crystals and I've reached 55k points and I'm capped. I just ran another round of dungeons and collected the artifacts for completing "x" rooms from summoner journey quests and as I'm spam clicking "collect", I now realize I'm capped at 55k. No idea how many more I should have collected.

But if this was never mentioned, why implement this change?

Yes, this has always been the case. They put in the ability for you to buy a 5* crystal outright for 22 if you want to keep saving.

I am sorry, there is no way to go back a year to see what they did and did not say, but typically when they announce these things they tell you to look at the forums with a link in the emails.
