Mephisto: When he activates his L3 he gains a permanent Aura of Incineration, which is insane for long fights. (you can spam L2 for the rest of the fight) He is very underrated. Also he can prevent the opponent getting any buffs from L2

Hela: Can gain 3-4 furies in a regular fight, 5-6 in longer ones. Her damage is crazy, with 4 furies you have a permanent 2x damage multiplier, and the physical resist is just the icing on the cake.

He only gets permanent aura of incineration if the opponent had more than 2 bars of power when you activated his sp3 and consumed their power.

As a big time Doctor Strange and Loki player, I've found both to be extremely useful.

Doctor Strange has the ability to simply ignore the threat of incoming buffs by nullifying them as they happen. Combined with the mystic mastery, and his power gain is uncontrollably strong. Beyond that, his passive power gain and lifesteal can be very handy in fights where playing safe is your best bet. I find him a very convenient answer to a lot of unstoppables, Agg. Regens, and most Cosmic champions.

Loki is situationally absolutely brilliant! Oh, Venom, look at all those buffs, how cute. And on nodes where buff stealing is going to be that helpful, his unblockable, hybrid damage, %HP SP2 is nothing less than a boss killer. He was my first ranked up 5* and he's tackled bosses in every single Epic monthly for at least 2 years now. Poor Champion, Annihilus, and Thing.

    Nebula - Pretty straightforward

Build as many charges as you can without parry stunning the enemy

    Get to L2

Parry stun, do a 5 hit combo and launch your L2

Watch as your shock debuffs melt the enemy

Obviously not a good matchup vs shock immune

... While taking a lot of block damage during the fight... Regen isn't reliable. Sometimes it just doesn't activate
Having a 6* Nebula with the adrenaline mechanic helps negate some of the block damage. She’s still a very good option for biohazard paths, shock paths or vs robots like the final act 5 Ultron boss.

Also extremely handy for Variant ultron drone bosses in chapter 2.

Venompool never gets any love, but he has great bleeds, he can regen and steal buffs, well eat buffs I guess!

He can go crazy and randomly gain a selection of buffs.

I think he is cool to use and fight with!

Gets repetitive using a 6* Corv and the standard go to champs all the time.

Some champs I like that others don’t really share the opinion of:

    - Symbiote Spider-Man & Mile Morales: Both are easy to use, with nice crits that proc at a decent rate. There aren’t many counters, and with the new synergy with Stealth Suit Spidey, there’s no longer the annoyance of evading at an awkward time.

    - Masacre: Works nice with Despair, and if you can play him well, you can get plenty of incinerates on the defender, dealing a decent amount of damage. The DAAR from the sp1 is pretty nice too, and the damage from the sp2 is actually pretty impressive. Also a good counter for MODOK, and an ok counter for Electro.

    - Psylocke: Can keep most champions power locked the entire fight, and the damage output isn’t that bad (especially if you don’t have to worry about annoying special attacks).

    What does DAAR stand for?

Also, I love SS and Psylocke 😍 Symbiote Spidey works great with Despair. Practically has secret secondary ability to mitigate (or completely shut down with enough debuffs) healing. Psylocke works great against chunky champs since she takes so long to build psi-charges and perma-powerlock, but she also becomes a monster once you get there (in 10 years)

I literally came in to drop Psylockes name. I love my 6* and while she doesnt quite crack the lineup for the harder endgame content she makes her way in for specific situations. I really wish they would remove that stupid 25% less power they put on her though. With all the crazy champs and abilities floating around it just makes no sense that she cant gain power like a regular champ. Still a great champ though and amazing power controller.
I thought it was -20%? But anyways, I feel like she'd be way too overpowered especially if you consider normal power gain + AA synergy (increased power gain) and other additional stuff (petrify/stupify, Hulk/BW/AA synergy, etc).

You practically effectively permanent power lock within the first 2 to 3 sp1's. And since you can throw them b2b (and 25% stun with Hulk/BW), you might be able to get it within the first ~10 hits. Only champs with Power Flood can directly counter and even then, her sp2 has the actual Power Lock debuff

King Groot. My lord has one of if not the biggest health pools in the game so he can take a hit and keep coming back. Duped he gets that regen during his fury buff cooldown which helps when dealing with those DOT nodes. He is bleed immune and debuff immune while having furies and if you have a good amount of furies stacked, his sp2 melts people away. Put him on the right node and he may not get a kill but he sure as hell will time out opponents.

    He's also a Variant 2 god.

Anyone with the "Stand Your Ground" mastery will disagree 50% of the time
Pretty much. So all they really have going is an unblockable sp3.

Just got her as a five star so thanks! :)
She also shuts down any Robot Abilities with 5 Charges and over, and she converts Shock Debuffs into Charges.

Use Proxima for the Synergy and start with 10. She's definitely frequently overlooked.

Phoenix: Has great damage output when played correctly and has the potential to heal back to full health each fight. She has armor break and works well with despair because of her incinerates. She can also get to 3 bars of power before the opponent even gets to 2 which is pretty cool.

I love Phoenix. Her mechanics is probably top 5 weirdest in the game. The issue with her is shes super complicated to use because you have to constantly keep track of how many furies, charges, and power you have. Furthermore, she ramps up over time and not through her combo meter. I usually cycle between sp1 and sp2 to kinda keep her from overheating but even that gets hard when the opponent is passive. Kinda wish she had higher incinerate damage at least.
