Permanent indestructible buff

I’ve just started a new AW and the first defender I come across has a permanent indestructible buff that never cools down and even SP3 does nothing... is this cheating?!

Its more than likely an aegis heavy or aegis intercept... please read the nodes next time

@Skinnylipid Node/Tile number? Map difficulty? If you're on Challenger map or higher (Tier 5+), 1st node on path 9 *Tile 2* has Aegis Heavy. Which means the champ has 4 permanent Indestructible charges. Each can be removed by heavy attacks. 1 charge removed per hit. So if you have someone like say Hyperion, whose heavy attack hits multiple times, you can remove the charges in less than 4 heavy attacks. Best course of action (provided the champ doesn't have a way around this) Parry/Heavy. Remove the charges, then start in on them.

Aegis node... parry stun, heavy... or counter heavy with heavy

Thanks for the help guys, all sorted now. Previous Heavy attacks had no effect yesterday... so the node info was useless at the time. As long as it’s fixed now all’s good.

Out of curiosity, was yesterday’s node the second node on path 9? Because that one wants you to intercept, not land heavies.

So long as the opponent has aegis indestructibles active they will be unscathed no matter how stacked your champ is until you get rid of the aegis indestructibles with whatever method is described in the node.

In act 6 do you always die because the attack values are so high and the champions are extremely “powered up?” No. Aegis heavy just requires you to parry and heavy once or twice at the start of the fight.
