What is better, 100% map 4 or do map 5 without 100%?

Depends if your goal is higher overall AQ Series Points (for higher Milestones and Rank Rewards), or T4CC Frag Crystals (get by defeating boss, even if not 100%), or Map Crystals (need to be 100% on a BG).

And how close do you mean to 100% on Map-5 ?? If getting into final section of Map-5 it probably (don’t know the exact point numbers) would give you similar or more points than what 100% on Map-4 would. (Check out the Multiplier for Map-5 vs Map-4, and what % you think you can complete). Keeping in mind that minibosses are lot higher points than normal nodes, and Thanos is even much higher points than that (getting at least some % off Thanos can go a long way to overall points).

As well as accounting for fact that a boss kill (even if not 100%) will count as a “Win” for that BG towards the daily +/- Prestige adjustment in determining strength (and points) for next day's AQ maps. Whereas not beating boss in a BG would count towards lowering Prestige when calculating for next day.
