Realm of Champions Theory

So this may be a little bit of a stretch but bare with me.
In the past Kabam had plans to introduce an "Alliance Base" aspect to the contest of champions. I cant recall exactly when it got scrapped but heres my theory.
Kabam was developing the "Alliance Base" and while developing it they saw an opportunity to go bigger and better than originally anticipated with the "Alliance Base" and morphed it into the Realm of champions.. From what i can see from the mysterious video, it seems like there will be some sort of faction components where you pick a team or "faction" at the start of the game and we fight for supremacy over certain areas, just like was intended for the "alliance bases"

Lemme know what you think.

You can view the older video where they presented a glimpse of the upcoming MROC (back during the ComicCon) within the thread below ...
(and yes, there will be factions, of which you decide which one you want to be part of to build your character. And it will include live real 3v3 PvP fights)
