My champs are still stuck in the alliance war, but the war is over...

I don't know what's going on, but the alliance war is over and it says my champs are still stuck in the war. I did not drive through to the end, but the war ended, so I should be good, but I still cant use any of the champs in the war. What's going on?

You have to wait some number of minutes until generally about the time that Mail Rewards are sent out. Same as for AQ, if you have not already advanced onto final boss node.

No I got the rewards and it didn't work. It doesn't really matter any more though because the problem was resolved.
