Can’t make it hidden in general, because then people wouldn’t know how close they are to next milestones, etc.
But, (I don’t know if this is case or not..) do the Gifting Event current scores vanish once you reach the TOP Milestone ? Like how 3-day Avenger Use and other events do (which in general always bugs me cause you don’t know where you’re at if ally wants to hit a certain higher level for higher ranks).

That could be a way for top alliances to not have current points leaked. But would ALSO have to be paired with hiding everyone's individual contributions as well (again, probably just at the point you pass Top Milestone), otherwise you could just add them all up.
* Or maybe individual contributions would be limited to just being seen by Leaders/Officers (which are hopefully trustworthy enough to not leak).

The latest gifting event was so shady people cheating left right and center, yet nothing is being done about it

Not necessary all you need is kabam to have one ounce of integrety. Even suggesting kabam are anything but perfect will get you banned so watch out bud. Watch my post get taken down in 5secs flat whilst it takes 6 months to get a glitch fixed that benefits kabam. Kabam are a very very shady company with obvious ties to mmx and must be involved with that alli in some form or they wouldn't have got rewards and would be banned but why worry about mass cheating, it's far more important to make sure the truth about kabam is never spoken on forums
