A question about monthly epic event quests and side quests

I am newly uncollected as of last month and I was wondering if epic event quests and side quests normally tyis difficulty or easier or harder? A cavalier member of my alliance says this months epic event side quest squirells vs skrulls was more like cavalier difficulty then epic and I guess I'm just asking what to expect

    Yes, Epic Acornucopia is harder than other side quests, but you don’t need to finish it 100%. Just getting past 5 nodes in Epic will give about the same rewards as doing Master Level 100%. So let’s higher people be able to finish anywhere from 6 to 10 in Epic based on their own rosters/ability (and chance each day as to who the opponent nodes are).

    My advice is at this point you should focus on the uncollected difficulty of the monthly event. Even completing first 2 chapters, then next month the whole thing and explore fiirst chapter and so on. Being uncollected does not necessarily mean you can complete the uncollected difficulty of the monthly event. It might take some time. Having said that, this month's event is rather easy.
    Concerning the side event (Epic Acornucopia), what @SummonerNR said holds true.

    Thanks ive been doing epic daily and usually get through 5 nodes and the so its just barely better rewards but still better.. I dont have the skill yet to fully complete the monthly epic event quest so the 5 star ag is out of reach but this will be good practice for the future!

    Thanks I fully explored chapter 1 and just completed chapter 2 that iceman was quite a bit much for me sinc his sp1 kills any of my champs and that degen gets me before he will dash for an intercept so I wont explore it and judging by icemans difficulty I dont think I'll be able to go any further untill I up my skills and roster to be honest I'm kinda proud I made it this far lol

    There are 2.0 mil potential Acorns, and you only need 1.0 mil for the 5* Awakening Gem. You can see other threads where Acorns are all documented, showing how much or little you need to do to reach 1.0 mil.

    You can still reach it even if just getting by 5 nodes in Epic Acornucopia (or full Master levels), and not finishing Chap 2/3 of Monthly EQ. There are enough Acorns from other sources (including Arena during Nova, do all 3 Star levels of Nova, both times around, and hopefully you already did that during last week's Squirrel Girl Arenas).
