Mastery Point Recovery

This may be a dumb question but can you not recover your mastery points at any time?

I was under the impression that you could, and that the item called "mastery point recovery" was to recover 1 individual point from something specific rather than your entire Offense, Defense, or Proficiency mastery.

Also, do you have to recover all your points in one of the categories or can you move specific masteries? For example, I have 1 point in recoil and don't run suicide anymore and wanted to put into deep wounds without resetting everything.

    You can recover and reset your mastery points as many times as you desire. You just don’t get a refund on the units You spend to place said point.

    No you have to reset that entire section, not just pick one point at a time.

    And even when Mastery Recovery points were actually in use, it would reset an entire page of Masteries (although “just” one of the 3 pages at a time for the cost of a Mastery Reset” point each).

    Now, even though people may still have Reset points in their Inventory, they don’t mean anything. You can do Resets as often as you like for free (except for the incremental costs of a few Units of Gold here and there when increasing already unlocked levels). And still just resets the particular page (of the 3) that you’re looking at.
