Hmm, so after the knee jerk argumentative reaction and factoring the return of 5* shards from the Legendary it looks like I can expect a 20% chance to turn 825 5 *shards worth of 4* shards into 10000 5* shards. Sold.

    5k 4*shards= 1375 5*shards
    Or
    5k 4*shards= 550 5* shards w/ 20% chance of 10k 5* shards

    Take my money.

Instead of increasing the rewards of the black market across the board, it should be increased on a timed interval based on how long a player has purchased the sigil.

It should be as a reward for players' loyalty.

Why do Cavalier players not get a discount for the legendary crystal? If I'm understanding this correctly, the crystal has a higher value for uncollected players. That means players who have advanced farther and earned Cavalier status pay the same amount as uncollected even though they get a lower value relative to uncollected players. I thought part of the perks for gaining the Cav title was better rewards than other progression levels.

    What's Kabam thinking?!
If this is a completely free trade, then Kabam can price it whatever they want.

But players pay monthly fee for the Sigil. They should get better deals.
Let's not forget how many 4* shards needed for all the deals.
Normal players have hard time accumulating tens of thousands of 4* shards every month.
So many of them have to cancel the subscription when their shards running low.
Doesn't Kabam want players renew the subscription every month?

I would love a 3* to 4* conversion added similar to the 4* to 5* shards

It doesn't exactly have a higher value for Uncollected players. Rather, both UC and Cav players have the opportunity to trade 4* shards for 5* shards in the Black ISO Market, and Cav players have a better version of that offer. So when you compare the value of trading 4* shards for 5* shards or the Legendary crystal, because UC players have a lesser version of the 5* shard offer it makes the Legendary crystal look better by comparison. Cav players would be comparing the Legendary crystal to their version of the 5* shard offer which is better, which makes the Legendary crystal look less good in comparison.

    So the simplified version is:

If you're UC, the Legendary crystal is a better place to spend 4* shards than the UC 5* shard offer in the Sigil (although both are good: you should get both if you can).

If you're Cav, and your 4* roster tends to be not max-sig, the Legendary crystal is still the better place to spend 4* shards, even though the Cavalier 5* shard offer in the Sigil is better than the UC one (once again: both are worth getting if you can).

If you're Cav, and you pretty much have all the 4* champs, and they are mostly all max sig, *then* in that one case the Legendary crystal is arguably worse than the 4* -> 5* trade.

In all those cases, though, the Legendary crystal is better value than just straight up buying 4* champs with those shards. It is just that in two of those situations the Legendary crystal improves on existing options, while in the last case it is slightly inferior to existing options.

It seemed a little odd to me when I looked at the numbers, and a small Cav discount would make the oddity go away, but I'm not saying the offer is a bad one, it just seemed like an unintentional glitch in pricing
