Yup, crazy long considering the poll ended in October 2019. Hopefully we find out that they've been secretly working on several champ re-works in the 8 month time frame.

Complete reworks can take time, especially when there are other big events and new champs being worked on at the same time.

In the same interview the devs stated that they were working on adding special accounts that had each individual champion at max rank as their highest champ, so that they could be easily searched for and used as duel targets. They said this change would also be coming on the order of a few months. Things take time when you're changing things within a live operational game.
