Why do these offers still exist?

Every time you make a crystal opening there's a chance you get one of these absurd offers.
When you open lots of crystals, closing these becomes annoying, I belive Kabam should either remove or reconsider which offers they should give you, cuz again, it's really really annoying and I've never met any offer that I'd accept even if they cost 10x less, cuz they're complete garbage for insanely high price.
What do you think about it?

yep Im one of those idiots. I want to max my warlock but have needed 1-and-a-half tech cats for over a month. All other class cats are near overflow of course. Any full or glory crystals I open are not tech, if I open say 50 crystals from finishing a quest the lowest will be tech. I have been inching closer and am 6000 frags away from completing. I would take that offer in a second if presented to me, and it will once I get even closer. I am not desperate enough to spend $50 on the T4CC selector offer from last week, but will use saved units towards it.

The offers wouldn’t be there if some idiot somewhere wasn’t still going for them. I can’t imagine why you would spend the units though. Maybe you would consider this if you were close to a T4CC for an upgrade and were very impatient.

Many of those popups are specifically triggered when you get close to having enough fragments to complete a crystal, so that's almost certainly where a lot of the demand for these comes from. That, and the rank up related ones that trigger when you pull something of a certain class.

Really, virtually all cash offers are targeted at the impatient, because virtually all of them offer for cash what a patient game player could earn eventually with just game play. It is just a question of degree. Units are earnable, catalysts are earnable, champion crystals are earnable. You only buy the offers if you want those things faster than you're earning them. That's basically taxing impatience.

Those POP-UP offers could still be in place, except just don’t have then actually POP-UP while you are spinning multiple sets of crystals.

They could just be visible as that “OFFERS ICON” on bottom of Main Screen (next to Calendar and Help Icons). If you are done opening crystals, and go back to Main Screen, you could see if there are any of those offers that appeal to you.

But at least ppl wouldn’t be able to accidentally hitting the wrong spot on the screen, at the wrong time, when you are mindlessly opening crystals after crystals.

The drawback to this is if u have a bunch of other class cats in overflow u may want to purchase your missing frags and save the rest of your crystals. I'm sure kabam also has a lot of ppl buy the offer by mistake and don't bother asking for a refund. They come out ahead in those situations.

Does that happen on Android? I know it is extremely difficult to happen on iOS because purchases have to be authenticated with either TouchID or FaceID, and my phone doesn't authenticate me automatically with FaceID when my phone is sideways (which it always is when I'm playing MCOC).

Those offers are the popup offers that only cost Units, not the real-money ones.
Shouldn’t have to validate your Apple/Google account because you’re not spending money.

Refunds being mentioned was just requesting refund of Units Spent inadvertently on those pop ups whose button is near the next “Open More Crystals” or whatever that one is labeled.

Do the ones for units have confirmation? I honestly don't know, as I don't think I've ever bought them.

There are some pop ups that cost cash, although you're right the vast majority of them (in particular the rank and fragment ones being discussed) are just for units. I guess I don't think about them much, as I just dismiss and ignore them constantly.

Not sure. Some things in game have confirmations, some don’t. Haven’t ever wanted to waste some Units to find out about those 😀

Your eyes and automatic reflexes are just normally trained to follow to the next OK (or such) button, so it’s a bad design if a popup doesn’t have a follow-up confirmation after clicking OK or Purchase.

Or like the lack of confirmation when scrolling thru Boosts List and accidentally applying a wrong boost because Swiping (to scroll thru Boost List) sometimes gets registered as a Press instead. And if the attempted swipe (aka press) happened to be on one of the Buttons for some Boost you’re just trying to scroll past, then your sunk.

The one's that cost units for frags doesn't have confirmation because I have mistakenly purchased them a few times when trying to open more crystals. I wish all offers had a confirmation that u can turn off if u don't want it. I leave all mine on just for a safety net. My game still says my champs will be locked and new members can't join AQ just so I don't make a mistake. I like the added safety nets.

It’s a little ridiculous. You get offers after every 2nd crystal opened.

An update, I snagged the 3,600 tech shards in the glory store. Then sure enough the system offered me 3,600 more for 132 units. I took that offer and am FINALLY the owner of a max rank Warlock. So there you go, I am why these offers exist.
