Mister Fantastic and 6.2.6 Champion

With the whole Covid and lockdown stuff going on and the surplus of energy refills and revives, I decided that now is good time to start exploring 6.2. I've been putting it off for a while because, well, it sucks and I don't really want to fight the Champion all those times, especially with the No Retreat node. Well, I have nothing much better to do, so I decided to tackle The Champion with the No Retreat link up because I wanted to get the hardest one out of the way. I took in Thing (For Path Clearing), Quake (For Mephisto), CapIW (In Case I Needed Him For Final 10%), Dr. Doom (For The Champion), and Mister Fantastic (For His Cross-Fight Ability).
I remember when I first took down The Champion that the block damage in that final ten percent was insane (I used 4/55 CapIW with max boost at the time), so I wanted to reduce it as much as possible. I was going to bring in Doom's perfect block synergy, but I realized that because of the Gates, I can't (seriously I hate the gates in 6.2, it's worse then sheer amount of paths), so I wanted to bring in Mister Fantastic and trigger his Careful Study Passive on The Champion's special one. It worked beautifully, though it was a little tricky to get it on since Mister Fantastic is only 4/55 and, like I said, I had the No Retreat node on. Once I got it on, Doom was only taking about four hundred damage per hit during The Champion's special one.
I should have practiced the timing a bit more for this fight to get the indestructible charges off since you need to be really close for the dex to count, but I got him down in a handful of revives and much less units than the first time I did (about four hundred versus 3,000+). The fight is so expensive since I needed to heal up to full each time I died.
The great thing about this is that I can bring in Mister Fantastic four all of the remaining runs (I can't bring him into the Skill path since I don't have Stealth Suit Spidey at a high enough level to take The Champion) and I only need to swap out Doom for my 2/35 Sym Supreme once for the Six Star path.
I just wanted to share how useful Mister Fantastic's Crossfight ability is so maybe you can include him in your team when you take down The Champion.
Last thing, whoever decided to put the No Retreat node on that fight was not hugged enough as a child.

Congrats! I’m still far from attempting 6.2, but that’s something to consider if I ever get there

I think Mr Fantastic may be a very underrated champ, correct me if I'm wrong, I've just started using him a fair amount and he seems to have some good uses. The more I learn about him the more I like him.

He is quite good, the issue is that there a lot of champs that are better. I have mine at 5/65 and I use him a lot though. Mostly for his prefight debuffs, but as a champion himself, he is pretty solid. It takes a while to fully ramp up his damage though.
