Getting shards while AW down

Shards r more inporant than ever with 6 stars being introduced into game (fighting 6 stars added into content with 4 stars not fair), and with AW down, main way to get 5 star shards, should other shard options become available temporarily?

No, Kabam owes us nothing and no where in terms and conditions does it state they owe us way to get 5 star shards, so let us fight 6 stars wth 4 stars

    They should stop taking aw down and leave it open all the time instead. :)

    They didn'd did it in the past. No point in doing it now.
    If there is no AW, then no one deserves free stuff

    You might wanna reread, nowhere asking for anything free, saying supplemental way to earn them, HUGE difference. And under ur logic, they never introduced 6 stars before for us to dight, so they shouldn't do that either.

    Not impressed since also found out 4 stars going to be useless soon, so need way more shards, and shutting down main option for that long hurts, but oh well, doesn't matter anyway.

    U might be right, but I heavily doubt it. Peeps saying 4 stars still be good because we don't get 6 stars til next year, but ya all forgetting they adding to game content for us to start fighting very soon. Meaning unless u have amazing 5 stars, we gonna be stuck fighting the 6 stars with our 4 star army. 4 stars can beat 5 stars not too hard, but 4 stars against 6 stars, sounds lopsided but guess we see.

    You lost me at "fair". I'm always down for creative options to win shards or anything else, but war going down isn't unfair in any way.

    Simply a poll, some of u take this stuff way to seriously and so personally. It's actu ally kind odd how some of u go on attack so quick over a simple usless poll. Its a simple poll over a free game , not a presidential debate. If u don't think it's needed, a simple no on survey is fine.

    Yet you created a poll saying Kabam should give us an entire alternative game mode to supplement lost shards for a week or two.
    Chill bud. It'll be fine. 4*s aren't even close to obsolete. Top tier 4*s still beat average 5*s every day of the week and in any content. It'll be difficult for 6*s, yes. But they also (probably) won't put them at max rank right away.

    I think it's funny people still think 4* aren't close to being obsolete. IMO, they already are, but if you don't feel the same have you not been paying attention to other announcements? You really think 4* are gonna be useful as attackers in war once there are 5 mini bosses with some (if not all of them) being r5 5* on crazy boosted nodes after the 15.0 update and people start completing 5.3 for those t5b? You really think your 4*s are gonna be useful in solo Master quests, Act 5 and future special events like Web slinger challenge when you are up against 6*s? I'm not even gonna get into challenger rating and what that is gonna do to your awesome 4*s once you start matching them up against max 5* and 6* champs. 4*s are good for one thing and one thing only now, the arena. It is only gonna get worse as these updates roll out starting this week and going through the end of this year. If you don't already agree and think 4*s are useless now I'd be willing to bet real money that you will by January 2018. That's only 4 months away by the way. Pardon me for speaking real here, but in my humble opinion if you still think 4*s are worth much more than 3*s at this point you are either dillusional or you just have not been paying attention to the big picture.
