I have already 10 rank 4 and can rank 4 another champ (use for attack).

All listed unawakened.

Howard the Duck, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, War Machine
Deadpool (XF), Old Man Logan, Storm, Cyclops (Blue Team)
Daredevil (NF)
Joe Fixit, She-Hulk, Ant-Man

I am thinking about one of these 3; Thor, Star-Lord, Storm.

Any recommendations?

if you want to use your r4 right now, go with storm, undupe still deliver great damage on her sp & stun
if you have awaken (or not obtain it yet by finishing act 4 maybe) go with satrlord and use awaken on him later

The tech advancement decided the issue. So now I am thinking what to do next in game progression.

I don't need to rank 4 anyone else unless I pull a better champ than the eleven that I have.

My next goal seems to be accumulating three resources, more T1A, more T4BC and the RNG T4CC. Looks like no rank and level activity for sometime.

Is this a phase everybody has to go through for a long period?

Yes it is. Patience will help you more than rushing.
The only ways to rush the process is to pay or grind like crazy.

Best advice I can give: Always be accumulating whatever resources you can. Be smart with your rankings. Don't chase champs

Thor, even undupped is a damage machine and fun to play

Just R4 my duped Storm this week myself. 1st fight her L2 did 23K damage! Her L1 does 9K damage!

So from those 3, pick the one that helps your roster the most and R4 that one

Of the others, none are that good imho, but Blue Cyclops can be useful
