About the "content creators" idea....

I can't speak for everyone in my position... I am not a "Creator".. but I am one of the people that help those guys keep on creating. I moderate the streams for nearly a dozen MCOC youtubers (including Dork Lessons, ContenstChampion, Frojo34, and others)... I can name (but won't) a bunch of people like myself who moderate for many of these guys...
should we qualify for this program?
should we qualify for this program?

actually a lot of people on here probably know my ID from youtube and we talk to hundreds of people via line and in live streams. Mods actually answer more chat questions than the streamers do lol
This is why I wrote the thread... curious if Kabam considered us
Interesting question. I'm sure they respect the work you do. I'm just not clear about the requirements. You need to have posted at least 8 Videos or Live Streams on the game in the last two months, and preferences will be given to those who have posted educational-type Videos. I would suggest sending a PM to @Ad0ra_ and letting her know the work you've been doing. She would have more information. The project is in its infant stages, but I'm willing to bet they're open to feedback.
Yes.. I've also helped Dave run contests, answered about a billion questions people have and kept things civil (as much as possible lol)
And you do it half as well drop haha
Well, mostly no, not at first. The program in its current state is explicitly targeted at educational video producers, and intends to grant temporary early access specifically to help faciliate educational video production. Given the purpose of the program, I don't believe moderators like yourself would or should qualify.
However, the announcement also states that they consider other types of content producers like guide writers, calculator tool creators, and other useful content creation to be on their radar for future expansion of the program. If you can make a case for how early access would allow you to better benefit the community, it can't hurt to present that case to Kabam.
I say "mostly no" because there is one possibility here. I'm presuming that Kabam has a procedural way to allow content creators to use contractors when making their videos - people who help with music or animation or editing. Those people would unavoidably be exposed to embargoed information. There could be a way for content creators to extend non-disclosure to those people who work with them on their content. They could conceivably request that someone like a channel moderator be included in that umbrella of information disclosure on the grounds of being necessary to do their job effectively.
It is a long-shot and almost certainly the request has to come from a content creator directly, but it is possible.
If Seatin signed up to this and he suddenly can't speak his mind or make those funny troll videos it'd be a bad day and I'd certainly unsubscribe from those guys.
It is not too dissimilar from the beta test program, and I don't think people are prevented from criticizing the content once it is released.
I've participated in closed beta programs for MMOs in the past. I've never been asked to curtail criticism of the content I tested. It was never even implied that my participation hinged on praising the content.
The clause regarding disparaging content is entirely fair in my opinion. I can say anything I want about the quality of the game content and I have never been censured for a single critical thing I've said about the game. I've even gone so far as to say that some of the content demonstrates a lack of skill in executing certain systems. But that's entirely different from questioning the company's motives, insulting the developers, or calling them names, the kind of disparaging content Kabam is entirely within their rights to not sponsor.
