Can Doom take Psychic Thorns nodes?

I know Doom can take Korgs so I that's what's making me ask this question. Anyone know the answer?

Is there a list somewhere of champs that have non-contact hits? I've read the descriptions of Sym Supreme and Doom and they don't say it anywhere. If we are going to have a node in the game that requires a non - contact hits, is there a way to look up in the game who has non-contact hits?

The node deals damage if you hit the opponent with a physical contact attack

So this is divided in 3x parts:
- First, it need to be an attack. This includes medium, lights, heavy's and special attacks. Damage over time, direct damage, etc, that are not considered attacks, will bypass it.
- Second, it need to be an attack that makes contact. So, projectile attacks (attacks that don't make contact) will bypass the node as well.
- And third, it needs to be a physical attack. Meaning that energy attacks will bypass the node as well.

So counters for the node are:
- Character's that deal energy attacks in their combo's. This includes symbiote supreme, magneto, human torch for example
- Character's that have projectile attacks in their kit. This includes Havoc (medium attacks only), Yondu (yaka arrow attacks only), Ebony Maw (first medium), for example.
- Character's that deal damage over time damage, not realying on attacks. An example would be Quake, that doesn't need to attack the opponent.

it's different. So Doom can take Psychic thorns I'm gathering? Just don't use a heavy attack?

Different Spiked armour is critical damage is reflected while psychic thorns means that any physical contact damage deals damage back to the player.

if I'm correct, spiked armor only works for physical hits. Does that mean the counters listed above will work for spiked armor too?

No, any crits with spiked armor will deal damage back to you. Energy, Physical, non-contact, contact, doesn't matter. If it crits, it will deal damage back to you.

Best counters for spiked armor are Crossbones, G2099, Quake, Namor(high sig).

We had a guy in our BG take down a Vision Aarkus that was on Physic Thorns yesterday and he left the fight almost full health. Depending on the matchup, Doom can work fine.
