What's the point of alliance donations?

I'm wondering why people donate in the alliance treasury. is there a reason why?

    I’m assuming you don’t run that high of AQ map

    But generally it’s to enter AQ maps

    map 5 and above have an entry fee

    No reason to donate if you run lower AQ maps. Best game progression will come from joining an alliance that runs 3 groups of whatever AQ map makes you a little uncomfortable. If you keep doing that you will need to donate soon.

    Kabam needs to squeeze you every which way they can ;) donations are pointless if you ask me. Just leaves players with MORE **** we need to grind for.
