Anyone else get wrecked by UC Kingpin

He absolutely destroyed me. I had to use 8 revives and lots of health pots. Needless to say, I won't be completing this one.

don’t place debuffs on Kingpin.
Bait the sp1.
learn to intercept
Have fun.
Dex= fury’s
10 fury= Allow defender to gain unblockable for 15 seconds
I only did master, however, UC is probably not different
I believe kingpin can shrug off parry. So try to do many debuffs on him, or else he will shrug them off
So basically masochism without the regen
Also, he has unstoppable heavy. So baiting that out won't be any good. I guess a strategy would be to pin him against the wall, bait out l1's, and cycle.
I was able to solo master with a 5/50 SE Spiderman, so good luck to you!
Don't get hit, don't use debuffs. Don't do what I did
I just baited sp1, rinse and repeat until he was down. He only goes unblockable for 15 seconds and if you are baiting sp1 that's your in.
Intercept works too but you don't even need to intercept if you tap into his block and bait sp1.
Do same as when he was in AQ...
(1) Can just hold your block against him hitting you until (either) KP just blindly continues to the end of a 5-hit Combo into your block. In that case, just return fire upon him after his 5th attempted hit.
-OR- (most likely) he gives up and tries to HEAVY into your block instead. As soon as he starts Heavy, you back up and can then counterattack him when he is done. If done right, doesn’t even qualify as an Evade.
(2) Save any Evades for when forced to bait out his SP1, very easy to avoid getting hit by that (even without evading) and is also a great chance to counterattack him afterwards.
Just watch out for Evading too much (watch that icon count under your name).
To the op, I would recommend baiting sp1 in case he goes unblockable. Your parries will either be shrugged off by his abilities or they will expire super quickly, so don't rely on parries
Finished UC yesterday and had no problems whatsoever (0 revives used) even with Red Guardian (maybe because I have an R3 NF Duped lol). So, I may be able to help you. The Kingpin fight becomes a cheese fiesta with any champ once you realize how to play against him. That cheese fiesta tactic is the backdraft intercept. How it works (if you don't know) is you hit him four times, then back off and charge in as soon as he rushes at you and do a five hit combo and back off before he counters. After you are done, he will have one bar of power ( 9 hits = 1 bar of power) and most of the time, will throw his sp1. Wait for his animation to finish (swing and a miss), then go back in, 4 hit combo, back off, charge in, 5 hit combo, bait sp1 (if he refuses to throw it, hit into his block a few times and back off and the pig will throw it but remember to back off when he does or the DOT hurts like hell), rinse and repeat. If you pull it off (and it's not that difficult), you'll notice that nowhere is there a need to parry or use dexterity. I use this with any Kingpin as long as it's UC level difficulty content since the AI is mega aggressive. Note that this tactic may, sometimes, not work as the AI will refuse to charge at you after the 4 hit back off phase. In that case, you have to rely on parry and pray that he doesn't shrug it off or land your hit before he shrugs it off but this trick works almost 90 percent of the time. Try the above tactic, mate. It helped me immensely when I had a hard time with the fat pig when I first started fighting him. Additionally, if you have a champ with a large number of buff effects, like Havok or Sunspot or Fury (though NF is not half as effective as the former two) you will be able to push him out of his rage state and into his overpower state where you can parry him one hundred percent. That works, too. Hope I was able to help.
I’ve done it with 5*r3 havok. It takes time yes, but it’s fun
