I'd say for a brand new player that would be slightly overwhelming. Makes sense to use a Black Widow who isn't too complex.

really? I think that the fancy animations and amazing graphics would draw a player in more than the boring old 2016 animations

A double edged sword. Graphics and great animations have flash value but when they start the game they may get older champs who don't have this, and they can feel slightly deceived

True, but the other combos we've seen so far (BW vs Taskie, Sparky vs Vulture) has a enemy element to it. Venom hasn't majorly interacted with Captain America to my knowledge since Venom is a spider villain

they should do cap vs thanos lmao but then champs might be disappointing when they realize they can only obtain thanos through event crystals lmao . but i think it still would be good another downside to it is tht act with thanos wont be that exciting as you already defeated him. There 2 sides to a story i guess.
