Sig Stone usage (story of a noob...)

When the 5* started rolling in for me, I picked out champs that I thought best for each class. At the time, I thought it was a good idea... Looking back now... I was stupid...

Mutant - used AG and 79 stones on R4 Iceman (80), and then same for Omega (80). Have R1 Namor (20) with 65 unused stones.

Cosmic - used 80 stones on R4 medusa (140). 105 unused stones waiting for Cap Marvel

Mystic - used 80 stones on Magik (140) and AG + 79 generic & 20 class stones for sym supreme (100). 103 unused waiting for Doom (or considering just investing in SS).

Science - used 60 on Thing (80) and then AG + 79 stones on Void (80). New CAIW (1) with 57 unused stones.

Skill - used 80 on Blade (140) and then AG + 109 on Aegon (110). 0 unused.

Tech - used 80 on Ghost (120) and then AG + 119 stones on Warlock (120). 15 stones for Warlock next item use.

I guess my point is that if I was more careful with my sig stones, I'd have a much higher prestige that could attract other ally's. But instead, i have several champs between 80-140. Ugh

It's a good lesson. If you're not a spender, it's best to hold off on using Sig Stones until you're ready to really commit to a champ as means to clear content or increase prestige (or both). Using them carelessly as they come is a good way to find your progress stifled later in the game.

If only we had other FREE ways of acquiring stones these days... sad we have to save them for the absolute best champs.

Buddy, I awakened and put mutant stones into Nightcrawler, a because he was fun, and b because I thought I’d never pull Namor.

My next five star pull was Namor.

The one thing that I wish was that there was a way to access sig stones as a F2P player. It’d also stop the top end of AQ being behind a prestige paywall.

With you averaging 2.5 stones per class/month from MEQ you’re looking at a whopping 80 months to max sig a champion from you manually awakening them.

Yeah, I agree that sig stones need to be more common.

For me the reason is not prestige, but just overall power of champs. I have pulled Omega Red and Namor, but I have only 40 sigs to put into them. It is such a tease to get these champs that are excellent at max sig or high sig, but not be able to sig them up to help with the current content (for me 6.1). I'll probably max sig them when act 7 is fully released, and by then 6*'s will be meta.

    The only mistake.

Well two mistakes was not saving all of the skill for Aegon.

And Awakening symbiotic supreme and pumping him up.

Blade is fine without his heal.

Awakening sym supreme is ok but be doesn't need many stones.

The mistake I see is using generic stones on sym supreme

Cap IW is in dire need of Sig stones

I don't know that warlock does synergy wise.

Ghost is fine but I'd save tech stones for spiderman stark.

Get him a decent sig and up to 8-10 poise charges and he crits 4 of 5 hits.

Science if you love using void go all in and max him out sig wise.

Or don't and take CAIW up maybe. Hulk rags really benefits from having a high sig.

Huge fury or regen to finish your opponent off or survive.

A 5/65 hulk rag with sig 200 when he or his opponent drop to or below 20 percent health. Hulk rags either gains 11,845.99 health over 10 seconds or gains 2578 attack boost fury rest of fight.

    That's a great sig ability.
