So is this a bug? Or just an extremely garbage game mechanic?

I was fighting a Stealth Suit Spider-Man that had 2 nodes: he was immune to debuffs on medium attacks, and his heavy attacks could not be interrupted. All around, it was a pretty solid place to put an SS SM. However, I ran into a problem that was so bulls##t, that I almost feel like it was a bug. After his heavy attacks ended, he was still not able to flinch upon being attacked.
I would time my attacks to land after he fired the second web, but every single time the Unstoppable Buff lingered. So I tried something else: I timed my attacks to land after he had time to react, but with no time to be able to use any fast attacks. At that point, his only safe option would be to either block or dash back (or evade in his case). HOWEVER, when he would try throwing out a medium attack HE WAS STILL UNSTOPPABLE LONG ENOUGH TO TANK MY MEDIUM ATTACK AND HIT ME ANYWAY.
Now, I don't know about any of you, but nodes should only be accomplishing the tasks that they explicitly state. The node was called "Heavy Handed", so the description was not "This Champion becomes Unstoppable for 2 seconds upon charging a heavy attack," and yet that is what happened.

Can someone explain that to me? Is it a bug that needs fixing? Or just an insufferable game mechanic that needs to be changed?

Heavy Handed makes the Unstoppable period last for the full duration of their Heavy animation, even if that includes some “recovery or finishing” time AFTER their actual last hit.

And so each different opponent may have slightly different timing to when you can charge back in after an Unstoppable Heavy.
