Different platforms different gameplay difficulties?

Dear Kabam,
I just became aware of something that I would like your comment on.
Since the new update it is impossible to fight when the snow effects are on. The performance drops to a level where it just doesn't work. I've been playing MCoC for over two years on my iPad Air, running the latest iOS. Is this device becoming "too old" for the game?
When I asked in my alliance chat whether anyone else was experiencing this problem with the wheather effects, a team mate told me those effects do not exist on Android. I had no idea. That opens a completely different issue for discussion. Even when performance is only slightly affected when the effects are on (there is always a drop rate, but it used to be playable) the gameplay is in itself more difficult because it is more distracting. That means that we are playing the same content but at different difficulty levels. That means my RttL is harder than my teammate using Android but we will get the same rewards. Even worse, in my view, are alliance quests and wars. An all android team will have an advantage because the fights will be easier when compared to players on iOS. That is not fair play.
I would like to hear your ideas on how you could level the playing field across all platforms.
It's a great game which I hope to keep playing in years to come.

Having said that, game developer should still look at the issue you mentioned.
